Populus-Terminal Double-Circuit 345 kV Transmission Line
PacifiCorp contracted with DEA to provide Owner’s Engineer services for 130 miles of double-circuit 345 kV transmission line. As the engineering design consultant, DEA provided preliminary design services in support of route selection, permitting and ROW acquisition activities, including the necessary PLS-CADD modeling, engineering studies, preliminary layouts, and aerial and ground base surveys. In addition, DEA provided engineering cost estimates and prepared a detailed scope document that provides for the engineering, procurement, and construction of the transmission line and three substations.
